Scoil Íde Naofa and the Green-Schools Programme
Scoil Íde Naofa have been involved in the Green-Schools programme for over 12 years and the whole school community is dedicated to making our school and grounds a beautiful and environmentally-friendly place to be. We have been awarded flags on the themes of;
- Litter and Waste
- Water
- Energy
- Transport
For the next two years we will be working towards the Biodiversity Flag. Biodiversity looks at steps which we can take to increase awareness of the importance of native plants, animals and habitats, and to increase species-richness in our school and locality.
We will have a monthly newsletter where you can find out about the latest initiatives in our school.
